Valley highs topped out around 100 on Friday, and with high pressure just not changing much, we'll see the heat continue this weekend.
Changes arrive next week. A series of disturbances in the Pacific will slowly break down high pressure, and allow our temperatures to cool down. By Wednesday, the strongest of them will come close to the North Coast, bringing us some clouds in the Valley, and perhaps a few showers for the mountains as it taps into moisture from an old tropical system. Thursday and Friday will be relatively comfortable days as we enjoy below average temperatures.
