Sunny skies, cooler temperatures, and mild conditions are ahead in your Monday forecast. Valley location are starting out the day with high 50's to low 60's throughout the valley, and are only projected to climb into the high 80's to mid 90's for your afternoon. The northern Sierra has temperature in the high 30's to low 40's this morning, and high temperatures projected to climb into the low to mid 80's this afternoon. Smokey conditions will linger in the Northern Mountains today, where temperatures have dipped into the high 40's to low 50's overnight, and are projected to climb into the mid 80s to low 90's this afternoon.
Sunny, and dry conditions will linger across the north state through your extended forecast, and much hotter temperatures will return by Wednesday. Valley location will climb back into the mid 90's to low 100's midweek, and mountains areas will return to the low to mid 90's.
