It was another hot day around the North State Tuesday... but much cooler weather is heading our way this weekend!
High pressure continues to keep us hot, although Valley highs didn't quiet make triple digits (but it was close!) We won't see much change either Wednesday or Thursday, with a few high clouds overhead.
A summer storm currently off of British Columbia will drop south over the next few days, and be off the northern California coast by Friday. That will spread plenty of cloud cover over us, and begin to cool us down a bit. The low will move inland Friday night and Saturday, bringing much cooler weather and plenty of cloud cover! The big question is, will it bring rain? Probably not in the Valley, but look for showers on the North Coast and in the Siskiyous Friday night and Saturday morning.
This low will move inland Saturday afternoon, but there are others heading into the Pacific Northwest Sunday and Monday. Those won't bring us rain, but they will keep our temperatures well below normal for the end of August... It should feel more like the middle of October!
The heat's sticking around for the next couple of days... but much cooler Fall-like weather is coming by this weekend!
