Hot again around the North State today, and while it will cool down some this weekend, it won't be much. More significant cooling is coming our way next week.
High pressure remains strong over the North State, and that sent temperatures back to summertime levels today... which will continue through the weekend! Weak low pressure in the Pacific will approach northern California next week, which will move high pressure southward and weaken it... allowing us to cool back down. We should notice some high cloud cover next week, but no rain.
It should be good weather for the lunar eclipse Sunday evening! The moon will rise right at sunset, at 6:54 pm. It will be totally eclipsed from about 7:11 pm to 8:23 pm. The eclipse will end at 9:27 pm. Check it out!!
