Sunny skies, and above average temperatures are ahead for your Monday forecast. Clear skies have persisted across the north state overnight, but a dense layer of clouds are passing through areas South of the region this morning. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to low 60's in the valley this morning, and mountain areas have dipped into the high 30's to high 40's. High temperatures are projected to climb into the 88 to 93 degree range in the valley this afternoon, and into the high 70's to mid 80's in the mountains later today. Winds will be out of the North to 10mph to start off the day, but will become out of the Southeast to 10mph early this afternoon. Humidity values will fall to below 20 percent this afternoon.
Cooler weather will arrive in the region towards the middle of the week. Valley areas will top out in the low to mid 80's on Wednesday, and some clouds will track through the region. Temperatures climb back into the low to mid 90's for the valley on Friday, but will take a significant dip this upcoming weekend. Valley areas will fall back into the high 70's by Sunday. Unfortunately, there does not look to be any wet weather ahead through your extended forecast. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures ahead for the middle of the week, and has a marvelous Monday!
