A very welcome cooling trend is arriving in the north state for your Monday Farmcast. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 50's in the valley this morning, and will climb into the high 70's to mid 80's this afternoon. Some thin clouds will track through the region throughout the day, but the chance for any showers and thunderstorms will be limited to higher elevations. Winds will be a factor in the cooler temperatures, with some influence from the Delta Breeze. Those winds are expected to be out of the South up to around 10mph. Your Monday morning sunrise is set for 6:05am, and sunset will be at 8:04pm.
Conditions will be very similar on Tuesday, but bigger changes will arrive mid to late week. Temeperatures will fall into the 70's for the entire valley by Thursday, and a slight chance for isolated showers, and thunderstorms will arrive. The best potential for the active weather in the valley will be in the afternoon, and evenings from Wednesday, through Friday. The cooler temperatures will last into Saturday, before a warming trend returns to the region on Sunday.
