It was a bit hotter today around the North State. We'll heat up even more tomorrow, but cool right back down this weekend. Not bad for July.
High pressure continues to strengthen, and so our highs continue to rise. The heat should peak Thursday, then as high pressure weakens this weekend we'll see our temperatures drop back down nicely then. High temperatures should be close to average for much of next week... seasonably hot.
Not much thunderstorm activity in the mountains today, and that shouldn't change for a while. It's now looking like the remnants from Hurricane Delores in the Pacific will avoid California, so we should be dry for a while.
