It was a beautiful day around the North State today. Look for even cooler weather over the next few days!
Temperatures cooled even further today, and we enjoyed a wonderful day around the North State. Low pressure currently over Washington will approach us tomorrow, cooling us down even further and sparking a few thunderstorms in the mountains. The low will be right over us on Thursday, but it's relatively dry... so I'm just expecting partly to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday in the Valley. Thunderstorms will develop in the mountains, however! We'll also notice a breezy north wind over the next couple of days, with gusts up to 25 mph.
The low will move south of us by Friday, allowing our temperatures to begin to rebound and the winds to die down. This upcoming weekend looks very nice, with warm (but not hot) weather and plenty of sun. Perfect for Mother's Day! A new storm will approach us next week, and should cool us down some yet again.
