It was a cool July day around the North State... very nice! It'll be a bit warmer Friday, but not much. The nice weather will last through the weekend.
Low pressure continues to move through California, bringing showers & thunderstorms to the mountains (even snow above 10,000 feet!!) and VERY comfortable weather to the Valley. Highs in the Valley were 15 to 20 degrees below average today! We'll warm up a bit tomorrow as low pressure pushes into Nevada, but not much... look for another very nice July day tomorrow. Showers and thunderstorms will erupt again tomorrow in the mountains, mainly in the afternoon.
High pressure will slowly return to California, warming us back up... but slowly. Highs this weekend still look nice, and Saturday should be the last day we see mountain thunderstorms.
By next week, high pressure will be strong enough to send our highs back to near average for this time of year. But until then... enjoy the cool July weather!
