Partly to mostly cloudy skies, below average temperatures, and the potential for showers and thunderstorms are ahead for your Monday forecast. The best chance for showers, and thunderstorms will continue to be in the mountains, with only a slight chance for showers in the valley. Temperatures have dipped into the low 50's to low 60's in the valley overnight, and into the high 30's to low 50's in the mountains. Winds are expected to be out of the South to around 10mph.
Similar conditions are expected over the next several days, with only a modest increase in temperatures on Tuesday. The chance for valley showers will only be around 20 to 30 percent, while mountain areas will have a 40 to 50 percent chance for active weather. Warmer temperatures will return to the region late week as the sky begins to clear. Valley areas will return to the high 70's to mid 80's by Friday in the valley, with widespread 80's are expected for this weekend. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and has a marvelous Monday!
