Monday was a mix of sun and clouds around the North State. A few showers are possible tonight and Tuesday before we see a big warm-up to finish this week!
A new wave of moisture will roll through the North State overnight, bringing some showers to us... Most numerous north of Tehama County. This band of wet weather is hugging the Oregon border, and not showing signs of moving south with much authority... A few showers are possible in Butte & Glenn counties, just not much. The rest of Tuesday should be mostly cloudy with near average temperatures for this time of year.
High pressure will clear us out and warm us up quickly, starting on Wednesday. A breezy north wind will aid in that, with 10 to 25 mph gusts in the Valley. Those winds will diminish Wednesday night, and even warmer weather is headed our way to finish off this week. Valley highs could reach the upper 80's!
A small disturbance should bring showers to the Sierra this weekend, and cool everyone down a bit.
