A slight drop in high temperatures, and a shift in the winds will leave conditions a bit more comfortable for those working outside on this Tuesday. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 60's in the valley, and will climb into the 95 to 100 degree range this afternoon. That's around a 3 to 4 degree drop from Monday, and another slight dip is expected for your Wednesday.
Today's winds will be shifting, and not quite as strong as Monday's. Valley winds will climb to around 10mph out of the South this afternoon. Those shifting winds will also help in elevating humidity levels from yesterday, with most areas only falling into the 20 to 30 percent relative humidity this afternoon.
Temperatures will become more comfortable for the latter part of your week, but the sunny skies will continue to dominate the north state. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 90's on Wednesday, and are projected to stay in that range through the weekend.
