California Highway Patrol officials say a concrete truck overturned on Highway 299 east near Ingot Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 2:30 p.m. and happened when the driver noticed a load of aggregate shifting and moving into another lane. The truck reportedly jackknifed and then rolled over before coming to rest on the side of the road.
A significant amount of debris is in the roadway and Highway 299 is down to one lane in the area.
The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries, and is expected to be okay. CHP investigators say drugs or alcohol don’t appear to have played a role in the crash.
