A group called "From the Ground Up" has been feeding people in the Concow community for years with one garden located at the Konkow Campground.

The people behind the garden grow everything from fruits and vegtables, to plants that heal ailments. They invite people to come in and pull weeds and help plant, or to just pick up free food for their families.

They say they just recieved a grant that will allow them to build three gardens in Chico, starting in the Chapmantown area. Their hope is to show people how to grow their own food, to help wipe out hunger.
