LOS ANGELES (AP) - A commuter train has derailed in downtown Los Angeles, but no one was injured.
The Metrolink train was just short of Union Station when it went off the tracks at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
City fire officials say the train remained upright, and firefighters went to each of the four cars to remove and check on passengers.
Metrolink spokesman Jeff Lustgarten says the train was the Ventura line 906, which regularly travels between downtown and Burbank.
He says the train blocked three tracks and cause delays of at least 20 other trains.
