Mostly sunny skies, very chilly temperatures, and gusty North winds are ahead for your Monday. The Wind Advisory in the valley is set to expire at 8am, but the region could sill have gusts up to 25mph out of the North through most of the day. Sustained winds will be out of the Northwest to around 15mph. Temperatures have dipped into the mid to high 30's in the valley overnight, and into the teens to 20's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid to high 50's for the valley, and into the low 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Aside from the winds, there does not look to be any major impacts ahead for your Monday.
Mostly dry weather will persist through your Tuesday, but there will be a chance for showers passing through the northern zones of the state earlier in the day. Dry conditions will then return for Tuesday night, before a more impressive band of moisture approaches the north state on Wednesday. The best potential for showers will be mid day on Wednesday.
There will be a lingering chance of showers for the end of the week, but that potential does not look very promising. Temperatures will warm back into the low 60's for the valley by Friday. Dry weather is ahead for your Super Bowl weekend. Ideal conditions are currently projected for Super Bowl Sunday. Sundays forecast is currently calling for sunny skies, and highs reaching the mid 60's in the valley. I hope everyone bundles up to be the cold temperatures this morning, and has a marvelous Monday!
