The Anderson Police Chief is giving his community the chance to chat over a cup of coffee.
Chief Michael Johnson is inviting the public to participate in monthly gatherings to exchange information, express concerns, and explore ideas. 'Coffee with the Chief' is meant to be an informal opportunity for the general public to meet with Chief Johnson and engage in, what the chief calls, 'transparent dialect for the good of the City.'
Chief Johnson will provide informational updates about the Department, personnel assignments, and projects aimed at protecting the North State way of life.
Gatherings are tentatively scheduled for the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30a.m. and will be held at Vittles Family Restaurant on North Street in Anderson. The next meeting is Tuesday, November 12th.
