Increasing clouds, and modest winds are ahead for your Wednesday forecast. Aside from lighter winds and more clouds, today will be very similar to Tuesday. Valley areas have dipped into the low to mid 30's overnight, and mountain areas have dipped into the mid teens to low 30's. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 50's for the valley, and into the low 30's to high 40's in the mountains. There is a slight chance for some light showers spilling into the Northern Mountains, but that does not look to be very likely. Winds will be out of the Northeast to around 10mph this afternoon.
The potential for showers will return to the northern zones of the state tonight, and a slight chance for showers will spread through the region tomorrow. Widespread precipitation looks much more likely on Friday, and will last well into next week. Snow levels will mostly hover around 4000 feet from the upcoming storms. Temperatures will not change much in the afternoons, but overnight low temperatures will be slightly warmer as clouds blanket the region. I hope everyone is ready for the wet weather to arrive later this week, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
