It was a beautiful Fall day around the North State on Thursday, with plenty of sunshine. That will change Friday as a weak Pacific storm will arrive here, but the little bit of wet weather it has won't. Expect showers on the coast and a few scattered showers to spill into Trinity & Siskiyou counties, but the rest of the North State will just see clouds and maybe a Sierra sprinkle. The lack of sunshine should knock our temperatures back down a few degrees, however.
The weak storm will be gone by the weekend, so we'll warm back up nicely Saturday and Sunday with plenty of October sunshine. A new storm will arrive Monday, and that one should bring us rain showers by Monday night. It's not looking especially strong either, but it should give us about as much rain as our last storm did.
