Clean air shelters set up throughout Trinity County

High smoke levels are impacting air quality throughout Trinity County. Air quality is especially unhealthy in the communities of Hyampom, Hawkins Bar, and Southern Trinity Areas.

The Trinity County Public Health Department provided us with the following list of clean air shelters, where High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters have been placed:

The clean air shelters in Junction City and Hawkins Bar have been closed due to improved air quality and lack of community participation, respectively.
