Tuesday was a much quieter day around the North State, weather-wise. We'll see some clouds Thursday, but our next chance of rain won't be until next Sunday.
Our potent storm from yesterday has moved east, and our weather quieted down today. North winds gusted 20 to 25 mph in the Valley, but they will calm down tonight and shouldn't be an issue again for a while. Look for clear skies overnight, which will allow our temperatures to get chilly tonight! It should be the coldest night of the season for us... so far.
A weak storm will bring us clouds on Thursday, but no rain. High pressure will return Friday and Saturday and warm us back up nicely.
A stronger storm will arrive Sunday and Monday, and looks similar to our last storm! It should bring us showers on Sunday... then, as cold low pressure rotates over us Monday, that should destabilize the atmosphere enough to give us the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm in the Valley again. This one looks a little cooler than the last one, so expect snow levels to drop to near 5000' by Monday.
