Frankie Dean has been an avid cyclist her whole life. When she heard about the tragic death of 21-year-old Kristina Chesterman, who was struck by a drunk driver while riding her bike, she knew she had to do something. With help from friends in the community, Dean placed a ghost bike where Chesterman was hit on Nord Avenue in Chico. Dean spoke with Chesterman's father who was moved by what she had done. Dean says the bike serves an important purpose for those who pass by, and she hopes the community will remember just how special Chesterman was.
