Chico State upends Holy Names 64-40 in Coslet Classic

Brooke Bowen scored 15 points to lead the Chico State Wildcats to a 64-40 victory over Holy Names their own Carl's Jr. Coslet Classic.

Kayla Taylor and McKena Barker scored ten apiece for Chico State. Chico State outscored Holy Names 48-20 in the paint. The Wildcats outrebounded the Hawks 33-27 and held them to just 31% shooting on the night. Chico State converted 50% of their field goal attempts.

The victory marks the second straight for the Lady Wildcats after they defeated Notre Dame De Namur 56-45 in the season opener Friday.

The Wildcats are back in action next weekend at the Western Oregon Hampton Inn D2 Shootout in Monmouth, Oregon. They'll face Western Oregon Saturday at 2 p.m. and Saint Martin's Sunday at noon.
