Authorities are searching for two men who reportedly assaulted a 21-year-old Chico State student early Saturday morning, sending her to the hospital with a broken jaw.

21-year-old Raelynn Vincent says she was walking home near 3rd and Ivy Streets around 2 a.m. Saturday when a red Volkswagen Passat pulled over and began harassing her. Vincent says one of the men jumped out of the car and punched her in the face, breaking her jaw in two places.

Vincent's family says she has been transferred to a hospital in Sacramento where she underwent a second surgery Sunday.

The red Volkswagen reportedly has a Florida License plate beginning with either BQI or BQ1. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chico Police Department.
