Chico State's Gender and Sexuality Equality Center hosted it's 3rd Annual Transgender Conference Sunday. This year's conference featured several speakers, and focused on the lack of accessibilites for the local transgender community. Said representative Seve Christian, "Accessibility as far as trans folk is a deep-seeded problem. We can see discrimination in a lack of accessibility in housing. Somebody can still be discriminated against based on their gender identity." The conference also provided information on local resources to transgender attendees.
