Chico State sophomore runner Kyle Medina raced to a third place finish in the 1,500-meter section at the Payton Jordan Invitational Sunday, finishing in 3:43.12.
Medina's time was not his personal best as he ran 3:41.80 earlier this year to break Chico State's school record. But his performance is still faster than anyone else in Division-II this season.
Medina and the Chico State track and field team returns to action May 5th through May 7th at the CCAA Conference Championships in Los Angeles.
