Chico State men's basketball team is headed to the Big Dance

The Chico State men's basketball team is headed to the NCAA Division-II Tournament for the fifth straight year.

Chico State, the regular season CCAA Conference champions, earned the No. 7 seed and will face second-seeded UC San Diego Friday at a time yet to be determined at Western Oregon University, the top seed and host of the West Regional.

Chico State (22-6) defeated UC San Diego 77-71 in their only meeting this season on Feb. 12 in La Jolla.
