The Chico State men's basketball team dropped a thrilling CCAA Championship Tournament title game to Cal Poly Pomona 62-57 in OT Saturday at Stockton Arena.

It's the fourth straight loss for Chico State in the CCAA Championship Tournament final.

Wildcats point guard Mike Rosaroso drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with 21 seconds left in regulation to give Chico State a two-point lead.

But CCAA Player of the Year Terrence Drisdom connected on a pair of free throws with four seconds left to force overtime, where the Broncos pulled out the victory.

All-Tournament selections Robert Duncan and Drew Kitchens led the Wildcats with 20 and 11 points, respectively.

Chico State fails to secure the automatic bid into the NCAA tournament, but with a 22-7 record and a regular season conference title, the Cats are all but assured a spot in the Big Dance.

Chico State will watch the tournament's selection show at 7:30 Sunday night at the Madison Bear Garden. The pubic is welcome to join the festivities.
