A group at Chico State is getting national attention after winning a top award for creating a video dealing with the California drought.
“When the lakes are low and the sky is dry, water woman is there, fighting droughts everywhere”
Chico State's Department of Creative Media and Technology promoting water conservation has been selected for a top award in the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association's 2016 Creative Excellence Awards.
The video titled "Water Woman," urges faculty, staff and students to reduce water use at the campus' WREC Center.
The award will be presented to the group at a national conference in Orlando, Florida, in early April.
