The Chico State baseball team celebrates Senior Day with a 6-0 shutout over rival Sonoma State.

Eight players were honored prior to the game for their contributions to the program including Tony Rogue, Ben Gamba, Braxton Phillips, A.J. Epstein, Cody Bistline, Peter Lecce, Torgen Sunderlund, and Andy Burschinger.

It was also Little League day at Nettleton Stadium, but Chico State's second baseman Cameron Santos and starting pitcher Dalton Erb stole the show.

Santos went 2-5 with an RBI and made several stellar defensive plays.

Erb, perhaps the biggest star of the game, tossed a complete-game shutout allowing three hits with 11 strikeouts.

Chico State improves to 28-14 overall and 18-12 in the CCAA. The Wildcats lead Cal State Monterey Bay by a game.

Chico State will play a four-game series at San Francisco State next weekend.
