Chico State baseball stadium burglarized

Chico State University Police say around 7:30 on Wednesday morning, the head coach of the Chico State baseball team reported that an interior room at Nettleton Stadium had been burglarized. Thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen including Chico State baseball equipment and a computer monitor.
Police say they recovered some of the items on a bike path near the stadium. When we asked about surveillance video, Police said the cameras surrounding the stadium were not functioning at the time. Chico State Public Affairs Director Joe Wills says it's an unfortunate situation. Police say they're still in the process of going through inventory to see the exact amount of items that were stolen. Police are still searching for suspects involved, and the incident is still under investigation.
