While St. Patrick's Day in Chico is not what it once was, police are still preparing for a busy Tuesday.
The city has issued a glass ban that will go into effect this evening and remain in place until Thursday.
Police plan on ramping up efforts on the roads, looking for possible DUI drivers, saying there will be no tolerance for driving under the influence.
Officers say St. Patrick's Day in Chico has calmed down recently, but a lot of out-of-towners are still expected to come celebrate downtown. Last year 33 people were arrested on St. Patrick's Day in Chico, which is a slight increase over 2013 when officers made 26 arrests.
