The Pioneer Day Parade will wind through the streets of Downtown Chico starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7th.
This will mark the 99th year for the parade. The theme this year is Butte County - The Land of Golden Resources and Sustainability.
The Grand Marshal is Marilyn Warrens, Founder of the new Chico Community Rose Garden at the CARD Center on Vallombrosa Avenue.
Parade organizers say more volunteers are still needed, if you are able to help the day of the parade contact Co-Chair Connie Wright at (530) 521-2334.
