If you have treasures hiding in your closets, under your bed, in the basement or the garage ... you can discover their value at The Chico Museum Antique Appraisal.

It is set for Sunday May first, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chico Museum, located at the corner of 2nd and Salem Streets in Downtown Chico.

It's a benefit for the museum, and will feature 9 expert appraisers to value your items. That includes fine art, books, china, clocks, clothing, coins, furniture, glass, jewelry, photos, quilts, stamps, toys, and antique weaponry.

The cost is $8 per item ( a matched set counts as one item). Bring in what you can carry, for large items bring photographs.

The appraisers are Randy Taylor, Sam Kissee, Barb Gore, Bill Sheehan, Barbara Schletz Baum, Lee Laney, Dave Campbell, Steve Catterall and Cathy Squires.
