A Chico man out on bail and awaiting sentencing for heroin sales has landed in back in jail for allegedly selling heroin.
In September of 2014, BINTF detectives arrested Wayne Rice, 61, of Chico when he was found to be in possesion of a half pound of heroin, methamphetamine and a handgun. He also had $30,000 cash, the majority of which are believed to be drug profits.
On Wednesday, BINTF agents served bail condition compliance check at Rice's home and found $2,500 cash, an ounce of heroin, a small amount of marijauana, and ammunition.
Rice was again arrested for possessing heroin for sale, and for having the ammunition. He was booked into the Butte County Jail.
