A busy Chico intersection has reopened after Chico firefighters responded to a level three Hazmat call Monday morning.
Initially crews thought a 100 gallon propane tank was leaking gas at the intersection of Mulberry and East 20th Streets, but they eventually determined it was actually an oxygen tank that was not properly secured in a truck.
The tank fell onto the road and white vapors were spilling out prompting the Hazmat response.
Crews were on scene for more than an hour clearing the scene.
