Students at Chico High were the teachers this morning where more than a hundred kids gathered to learn all about agriculture. Junior high students from all over Chico attended the event where several stations were set up to teach them about everything from animal science to welding and floriculture. Chico High students running the event, like senior Angela Prior, say they hope to inspire others to pursue future careers in agriculture.

"I really hope they take away something new, something they didn't know before. Ag gives us food, gives us clothes on our back, and even just being able to appreciate that is really important," she says.

There was plenty to see at today's event. Students showed off their goats, pigs, sheep and even a miniature horse.
