Staring down the barrel of a gun and being robbed in broad day light.
Sohan Singh recalls the terrifying moments when his Chico gas station was held up by a man dressed in all black.
“He comes like here, stands right there and put the gun like that,” Singh said. “I opened the register then he said give me money and I gave him money.”
The robbery happened late Wednesday afternoon when a man walked inside Chico Petroleum, pulled out a gun and demanded money.
Singh emptied the register and the thief grabbed several hundred dollars in cash before taking off in front of people outside pumping gas.
“A guy pumping gas saw him put his gun in his pocket and go towards the Oasis restaurant,” Singh said.
And it was all caught on camera. This store has cameras everywhere both in and outside. So this crook is in the system forever.
And the footage may be a big clue for cops as the North State has been hit with a string of recent robberies.
