Chico Police are investigating a robbery at the Umpqua Bank at 6th Ave. and Esplanade.
It happened at 11:21 am.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned hispanic man, 5'8", wearing a dark hoodie, a ball cap, jeans and sunglasses.
He handed a lengthy note to the teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money.
There were no clients in the location and nobody was injured.
The suspect fled on foot, and was last seen walking North East away from the bank.
Last Thursday, another Umpqua Bank, on Pillsbury Road, was also robbed.
However, police do not believe the robberies are connected.
