Cloudy skies, and the potential for showers and thunderstorms will linger in the north state for your Friday forecast. Temperatures are starting out much cooler than 24 hours ago, with mid 50's across the valley, and mid 30's to low 50's in the mountains. There will be a chance of light scattered showers, and thunderstorms for the north state, but conditions will not be as strong as Thursdays.
The chance of showers will linger for the Northern Sierra through the weekend, but the rest of the region will have dry, and warmer conditions. Temperatures will continue to warm for next week, with sunshine returning to the entire north state on Monday. I hope everyone enjoys this cooler weather, and has a fantastic Friday!
