Cooler temperatures, and cloudy skies are returning to the north state in your Friday forecast. Thin clouds are starting to blanket the region early this morning, and are expected to become much thicker this afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 40's to low 50's in the valley, and in the high 20's to low 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 70's for the valley, and mid 60's to low 70's in the valley. Winds are projected to shift, and will be up to around 10mph out of the South. The spring season will officially start at 3:45pm this afternoon.
The potential for showers will sag down from the Pacific Northwest tonight. Areas closest to the Oregon border will be the most likely to see showers from tonight through early Saturday morning. Temperatures will continue to cool through the weekend, and the potential for widespread showers returning late in the day on Sunday. Showers, and thunderstorms will be possible into your Tuesday forecast, before clearing skies, and warming temperatures arrive on Wednesday. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures on their way, has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful weekend.
