A slight chance of showers lingering across the region today, but most of the wet weather has now moved off to the East. Skies will clear throughout the day, and should be mostly sunny by this afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 50's for the valley, and in the mid 30's to mid 40's in the mountains this morning. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid to high 70's for the valley, and into the low 60's to low 70's in the mountains this afternoon. Winds will be out of the Northwest to 10mph, and humidity values will fall to around 30 to 40 percent. There will be a slight chance of showers mainly through the mountains until this afternoon.
Sunny skies, and slightly warmer conditions will return to the area on Tuesday. Valley areas will range in the low to mid 80's with dry weather through Friday. Not much change is expected from Tuesday through Friday, but stronger winds will be a factor in your Tuesday forecast. Low humidity paired with the stronger winds will leave the region under high fire danger on Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The next potential for showers will arrive this weekend. I hope everyone drives safely on the wet roads this morning, and has a marvelous Monday!
