Plenty of sun around the North State on Wednesday, but that won't be the case Thursday. Low pressure will move into the North State Thursday, bringing us partly to mostly cloudy skies, and a chance of a shower. If we see one, it will only be a hundredth or two... not much at all. Regardless if we get rain or not, it will be a much cooler day, with Valley highs only around 80.
The sun returns Friday as the low moves east, and so does the heat! High pressure will surge back, and with the help of a light north wind, send Valley temperatures back into the 90's. We'll stay in the 90's through the weekend as that light north wind turns into a light south wind.
Fall starts Monday... the Autumnal Equinox is at 7:29 pm PDT.
