Officials say they have stopped the growth of a Fresno County wildfire that burned several structures and led to the brief evacuation of dozens of homes. CalFire officials say the fire started in brush near Clovis on Thursday afternoon and quickly surged to 100 acres, but they say its forward progress was stopped soon after. Officials say at least 50 homes were under an evacuation order, but it has been called off and they're being allowed to return. CalFire says several structures have been destroyed, but it's not clear what they were. Late afternoon temperatures were in the high 80s in the area with winds of about 15 mph.
