Catalyst expands services to men

After nearly four decades of serving victims of domestic violence in Butte County, Catalyst is expanding its services to men.

According to Catalyst, up to 15 percent of domestic violence cases involve men seeking help.

Celebrating 40 cases of operation in 2017 Catalyst serves an average of 1300 domestic violence victims per year. Their free services range from hotline calls and counseling to housing.

According to the National Network to End Domestic Violence, key red flags of domestic violence include jealousy and not respecting your partner's boundaries.

Statistically one in three relationships will be affected by domestic violence.
