A car crashes into the front of a store in Chico, and it barely misses two employees. It happened just before one thirty today at Cigarette City on West East Avenue. Two store employees were inside the store when the Ford Explorer crashed. The SUV hit stacks of merchandise before throwing the two employees against the wall. Both women were able to escape through the back door of the store. They say the driver was trapped inside of her car. The employees say the driver looked like she was in her mid-twenties and say she had a cast on her foot. No injuries were reported from the crash, but one of the employees cut her foot on shattered glass.
