Camera equipment stolen from Enterprise-Record photographer

The Chico Enterprise-Record is asking for help locating more than $5,000 worth of camera equipment and electronics stolen from a photographer's vehicle either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

The equipment was stolen from photographer Dan Reidel's Jeep, parked outside his home on the 400 block of West Sacramento Avenue.

Stolen items include a black Nikon D600 camera with two SD cards, a black Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 lens, a black Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, a Nikon Lithium-ion battery, a Nikon battery charger and a police scanner. A laptop bag, an AC adapter for the laptop and a Delkin USB card reader were also stolen.

The Enterprise-Record is offering a $500 reward, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Chico Police Department.
