Cal Water will host a meeting next Wednesday on the Chico State campus to discuss new state-mandated water restrictions.
The meeting will be May 27 at the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium on the Chico State campus at the corner of West 2nd Street and Chestnut Streets.
The meeting is intended to educate Chico customers on new water use regulations and a range of conservation programs and tools available to help customers reduce their water use and meet the State's reduction requirements.
"We are here to help our customers understand the State's water use restrictions and reduction requirements and our water budgets," said Acting District Manager Pete Bonacich. "We also want them to know that we are here to help them comply with the requirements."
Cal Water serves about 97,300 people through 28,100 service connections in Chico and Hamilton City.
