Butte County officials announced Tuesday morning that they are launching a new program that will allow all county residents to save on the cost of their prescription drugs.
The Butte County Health Department and the "Coast2Coast Rx Program" will be offering a card that residents will be able to use at pharmacy chains and most independent pharmacies in Butte County.
The program has saved cardholders nationwide an average of 60 percent on the cost of prescription drugs, and also provides discounts on dental, vision, veterinary and hearing services.
The card is available to all county residents, regardless of income, age, or health status. For more information on obtaining a card contact the Butte County Health Department.
