Law Enforcement agencies in the North State are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 31-year-old Nevada man who should be considered armed and dangerous, the Butte County Sheriff's Office said Thursday morning.

Sheriff's Officials say Nathan Philbrook was one of three Nevada men who came to Oroville with the intentions of robbing a marijuana garden.

California Highway Patrol officials made contact with the three suspects Tuesday night along Olive Highway near Wally B Lane. Two of the men were found near a minivan, the third, Philbrook, ran into the woods.

CHP officers searched the van and found unregistered handguns, ammunition, an unlawful assault weapon, as well as additional camouflage clothing, night vision goggles and duffle bags.

28 year-old Randy William Hubbard of Reno, and 31-year-old Joseph Daniel Miceli of Reno, were arrested on weapons and drug charges, as well as conspiracy charges after the subsequent investigation revealed their robbery plans.

Philbrook is approximately 5'4", 155 pounds, medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Philbrook's whereabouts is asked to contact the Butte County Sheriff's Office.
